Rolling out Business Central to Thailand?

Opening or migrating a Thai subsidiary? Triple P is a Bangkok-based Microsoft partner and the publisher of a Thai tax localization app for Business Central on Microsoft AppSource. We add Thailand to your global template — compliant with the Thai Revenue Department, in English and Thai.

Why Thailand needs a local layer

What your Thai entity must handle

Business Central covers the core processes, but a Thai company has local tax and reporting requirements that a global template does not include out of the box.

🧾

VAT reporting

Thai VAT at 7% with Purchase and Sales VAT reports in the format the Revenue Department expects.

📑

Withholding tax

Withholding tax on payments to suppliers, with PND 3 / PND 53 reports and the WHT text file for submission.

📦

Stock card

An inventory stock card report for Thai tax and audit purposes.

🖨️

Thai-format documents

Purchase, sales, payment, receive and general vouchers in Thai format — in Thai and English.

🏛️

Local rules that change

Tax configuration that can be adjusted as Thai regulations change, without redesigning your template.

🌏

Group reporting

Your Thai entity still reports to HQ on the group chart of accounts and processes you already use.

FAQ

Thailand rollout questions

Is the Thai localization available on Microsoft AppSource?
Yes. Our “Tax localization for Thailand (VAT & WHT)” app for Dynamics 365 Business Central is published on Microsoft AppSource by Triple P. It supports the Essentials and Premium editions, in Thai and English.
What Thai tax reports does it cover?
Purchase and Sales VAT reports, withholding tax reports PND 3 and PND 53 with the WHT text file, the inventory stock card report, and Thai-format purchase, sales, payment, receive and general vouchers.
Can we keep our global template and only add Thailand?
That is the usual approach. Your group processes, chart of accounts and reporting stay as designed by HQ; we add the Thai localization, configure Thai tax and documents, and map the local requirements onto your template.
How long does a Thailand rollout take?
It depends on scope, data migration and integrations. A rollout based on an existing global template is usually much shorter than a new implementation. After a scoping call we give you a timeline and a fixed scope.
Can you work with our existing global Microsoft partner?
Yes. We can work alongside your global partner: they keep ownership of the template, and we handle Thai localization, local configuration, Thai-language training and local support.
Do you provide support after go-live in Thailand?
Yes. Our consultants in Bangkok provide local support in Thai and English, during Thai business hours, so your local finance team has someone who understands both the system and Thai regulations.
