Copilot and AI agents (cloud)

Business Central Online adds Copilot and AI agents for sales, payables and document work.

🔄

Automatic updates (cloud)

Business Central Online is updated by Microsoft twice a year — no more large upgrade projects.

🧾

Thai tax as an extension

Thai VAT and PND 3/53 reports and Thai-format documents with Triple P’s Thai localization app on Microsoft AppSource.

FAQ

NAV upgrade questions

Which NAV versions can be upgraded to Business Central?
From Dynamics NAV 2009 through NAV 2018, plus older Business Central on-premises versions such as BC14. Very old versions may need several data-conversion steps, which we plan for after assessing your current system.
Can we keep using NAV 2018?
It still runs, but NAV 2018 left mainstream support on 10 January 2023, and its extended support (security updates only) ends on 11 January 2028. After that, Microsoft will no longer provide security fixes.
Do we have to migrate all historical data?
You can choose: upgrade the whole database with full transaction history, or start fresh with master data, opening balances and open documents while keeping the old system for look-ups. We compare the cost and risk of both before you decide.
Will we lose our existing customizations?
No, but they must be converted from C/AL to AL extensions, because from Business Central 15 onwards the base application can no longer be modified directly. We also identify which customizations standard Business Central now covers, so they can be removed.
Cloud (SaaS) or on-premises?
The cloud means no servers to manage, automatic updates twice a year and access to Copilot. On-premises suits organizations that must keep data in-house, have many internal integrations, or want to control when updates happen.
How is Thai tax handled in Business Central?
Through a Thai localization extension. Triple P publishes “Tax localization for Thailand (VAT & WHT)” on Microsoft AppSource, covering VAT reports, PND 3/53 with the WHT text file, the stock card report and Thai-format vouchers.
How much does an upgrade cost?
It depends on your current version, customizations, data volume and integrations, so we can only give an accurate price after assessing your system. We then send you a scope, timeline and quotation.
How long will the system be unavailable?
Most of the work runs in parallel without affecting your current system. We run several test upgrades on real data, then cut over on a weekend to keep downtime as short as possible.
